SSL Certificates – Updated

As it turns out the certificates form CACert.org sucked. Please download the LCHSoft.net CA certificate instead. Read more about secure email

Users of the webmail system horde.lchsoft.net will notice that the old SSL security certificates are no longer valid. Signed certificates from CACert.org are now used for SSL security both for webmail and regular secure email. The old **.lchsoft.net certificates can be deleted from browsers and cellphones.

New server is online!

lchsoft.net is moved to a brand new Fedora Core 5 installation. The hardware is partly the same, but the hard drives are replaced by two Western Digital SATA drives running Linux Software RAID1 with Logical Volume Management on top. Pretty neat! (And a lot more redundant :))

This means some upgraded software as well. FC5 is running Apache 2.2 and PHP 5.1. Upgraded versions of the Postfix and Dovecot mail software are also installed.

Finally!

There… Finally the new pages at LCHSoft.net are out. To make the site look better and ease editing and publishing new stuff about TVA and LCHSoft Inc, WordPress is installed as a content management system. It includes a lot of cool stuff, like blogging and RSS feeds.

New versions of TVA will be announced here. A service/bugfix release will be published shortly. A new version with some cool new features is still being worked on (if only the day had 32 hours). Also feel free to leave comments, either here or in the TVA user forum.

Grab your copy of TVA here… Enjoy!
